Amateur Radio License Testing – Dec. 27

NEMARC is having a free Amateur Radio license test session on Tuesday evening, December 27th at 7 PM.

Pre-registration is recommended – email Doug Wittich at N3VEJ@arrl.net

When:

Tuesday, December 27th at 7:00 PM

Where:

Harford County Sheriff’s Office
Southern District Office Building
1305 Pulaski Highway, Edgewood, MD 21040 (map)

This is just east of Md 152 on US 40, Eastbound side.

If you are new to Ham Radio and don’t currently have an FRN, please  apply for an FRN now. We will need that for registration. It is quick and painless. Go to http://wireless.fcc.gov/uls and click the Register button. It will lead you through the steps.

This page can also be used to see if you already have an FRN. You can also call the FCC FRN Help Line: 877-480-3201 (Mon.-Fri. 8 a.m.-6 p.m. ET). If you don’t have an FRN, we will have to use your Social Security Number and we really prefer not to have to do that. Remember that you only need to bring a photo ID. There is no need to bring copies of your FCC license to upgrade, and there is NO FEE!

In the event we cancel the session because of the weather, we will email and call everyone that is pre-registered. If the weather is questionable, please call me before you leave home.

I will be accessible by cellphone at 443-794-0735 including up until 7 PM on Tuesday.
